Umit graduated from Abant Izzet Baysal University with bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.

After 4 months of graduation, he started his osteopathy education in Turkish Institute for Adapted Osteopathy which was founded in Turkey by Institut für Angewandte Osteopathie of Germany. He completed his osteopathy education in 2014. He is currently working as a osteopath & physiotherapist. During his osteopathy education he also took courses in manual therapy. He attended pain management course which is given by well-known Pt. Max Zussman and physiology course by Frans Van d Berg in 2010. In the same period, he did research on trigger point and its treatment.And he took his dry needling-trigger point diploma from David G Simons Academy in 2012. Between 2012-2015 he was assistant-instructor of David G Simons Academy. He has become an instructor in 2015. He gives courses about trigger point – dry needling in Turkey since 2015. He finished ultrasound education in 2017, he is also a Ultrasonographist. He is founder and president of Men’s Health Pysiotherapy Association in Turkey since 2016. He complated his master degree in 2018. He also made speechs about trigger point and pelvic pain in various symposium and congress in Turkey. Now he is teaching dry needling techniques for Pelvic Pain & Dysfunction  and Men’s Pelvic Health  with IAOPH
